About the Meeting Room
Is the SFIVA Meeting Room free?
Yes. Starting a meeting, joining one, sharing your screen and chatting are free, with no account and no app. Instant meetings last up to 60 minutes with up to 6 people; the House's own meetings, interviews and classes run longer.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open the link in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox — on an iPhone, an Android phone, a tablet or a computer — and allow the camera and microphone.
Is it private?
Cameras and voices travel directly between the browsers in the meeting and are encrypted by the browser. They do not pass through, and are not stored on, SFIVA's servers. Chat messages are kept only while the meeting runs.
How good is the picture?
Up to Full HD 1080p at 30 frames a second when the connection allows, adjusting itself on mobile data. You can choose HD or Data saver before you join.
Who lets people in?
The host. Anyone with the meeting link asks to join and waits in the lobby until the host admits them. People invited by email have their own link and come straight in. The host can lock the meeting, mute, remove and make co-hosts.
Can I record?
The host can record from a computer browser. Everyone sees the red REC mark while it records, and the file is saved on the host's own computer — never on our servers.
How many people can join?
Up to 8 people on camera together in a House meeting. A live class shows only the presenters' cameras, so one teacher can reach about 25 viewers.
How does the House use it?
For interviews with applicants, Business Development Managers and Officers meeting clients and investors, franchise and wholesale meetings, team training and live classes. Every invitation arrives from the House by email with the date, the time and a personal link.
